How do you fit the spirit of Mumbai into just 190 sq. ft.? For Chakli Bakli Ki Thali, we borrowed inspiration from the city’s most iconic food delivery system – the dabbawalas. Tiffins, bicycles, everyday tools, and the organised chaos of Mumbai came together to create a space full of character and nostalgia. Small in size but big on storytelling, the outlet went on to win a New Zealand Architecture Award, proving that great ideas don’t need a lot of Sq. Ft’s.
