Sometimes, one simple graphic can tell an entire story. For Cactus Talk, we stacked conversation bubbles to form a cactus- a sharp metaphor for a political columnist speaking uncomfortable truths. That one meaningful idea became an iconic brand identity, earning the One Show Design Merit Award in 2013 and proving that the simplest ideas often leave the deepest mark.
